When working with RC5, RC5x or Nec code, instead of typing the code in Pronto HEX format, it is possible to enter them using the initial system, command and data codes.
To create a code using this method, right-click on the IR Code text field and select New code > RC5, RC5x or Nec. This opens a pop-up window allowing you to enter the system, command and data codes in decimal or hexidecimal format.
For the value to be understood as hexadecimal, a "0x" prefix must be used.
For Nec code, if the given command value is 8 bits, the correct one's complement is automatically generated (to have the required 16 bits value).
